Lafayette Hills Golf & Country Club, Syracuse
Sitting atop one of the highest points in Onondoga County,
LaFayette Hills Golf & Country Club enjoys spectacular views
in all directions. The challenging 18-hole golf course,
spacious clubhouse and pool complex are all surrounded by
the natural beauty of central New York.
This championship course was designed by the noted architect
of Bethpage Black fame, A.W. Tillinghast, who collaborated
with another noted architect, Seymour Dunn. Originally built
in 1923, the course has evolved over time into one of the
region’s top tracks. A newly renovated clubhouse, five
practice greens and two tennis courts make LaFayette Hills
a popular destination for golfers and their families.
In recent years, more than $1 million has been invested in
the course and its facilities. Located less than ten minutes
from downtown Syracuse and just off the highway, the club
attracts golfers from upstate and beyond thanks to its
top-notch facilities, conditioning and design.
