After 78 years of being a private club, The Brookwoods Country Club
is now a public facility. Built in 1928, the course has been rated
as one of the top five in the Rochester area. Designed by the renowned
architect Geoffrey Cornish, this championship course has four sets of
tees, pristinely manicured greens and well-maintained fairways.
Traditionalists will be impressed by this spectacular course, which
appeals to golfers of all skill levels.
The Brookwoods has a rich history, having hosted six New York State
Women's Amateur Championships and the U.S. Women's Open Qualifier.
The driiving range has four sets of grass tees and a 5,000 square-foot
practice green, as well as a 5,000 square foot short game area with a
bunker. After the round enjoy the restaurant and bar, "Keenan's At
The Brookwoods." Every table offers a great view of the course.
